Cingular has fully launched the Sony Ericsson Z525a. The update to the popular flip-phone is minor, adding only Push-To-Talk. The Z520a, its predecessor, was originally planned to include Push-To-Talk, however, software issues prevented it from being added in time for release.
This is the third time Sony Ericsson has attempted to add PTT to a Cingular model. The Z500a was also planned to include Cingular PTT, however, Cingular delayed the launch of PTT on their network due to server-side deployment issues. The Z525a will cost $19.99 after rebate with new two-year agreement.
