Simple Mobile has updated its online portal to announce that it has officially added T-Mobile LTE support to its $50 monthly plan with 3GB of data and the $60 monthly plan with 5GB of monthly data access.
The first reports of LTE access being added surfaced as late as November of last year shortly after Thanksgiving, but the reports were too inconsistent to make a solid confirmation of the added service and current customers are still reporting issues with having the capability added on the account, as Simple Mobile Customer Service has proven itself unhelpful with updating customer accounts to enable the network access.
The best way to enable LTE access for current customers on either plan is to contact the Simple Mobile social media team on Facebook and Twitter, with new customers only having to order a new SIM and owning a compatible T-Mobile-branded phone with LTE support that hasn’t been blacklisted to take advantage of the service.
