T-Mobile MVNO Simple Mobile has quietly added support for T-Mobile’s rapidly expanding “4G†network with the addition of the $60 monthly unlimited high-speed plan. The plan as listed on Simple Mobile’s website touts support for T-Mobile’s high-speed “4G†data service and includes unlimited voice and messaging as well. The site has also been updated with a list of approved “4G†phones and devices for use on its network and makes mention of the fact that it will launch BlackBerry Internet Service in the future, with BlackBerry support currently limited to OS5 devices, Opera Mini for web access and GMail for email access.
Additionally, the previous $50 rate is now tiered for unlimited 2G GSM/EDGE data access while still including the same unlimited voice, data and messaging access as the new $60 plan.
