Sanyo Katana II Shown in Final Form

Sources have sent in the final press photos of the Sanyo SCP-6650, the Katana II. Not to be confused with the Katana DLX, the Katana II is the successor to the original SCP-6600 Katana, while the EVDO-enabled Katana DLX is the replacement to the Sanyo SCP-8400.

The device remains rather unchanged from the original SCP-6600 Katana, the largest new features are a refined design, and larger 2-inch display (up from 1.8-inches). The phone still lacks EVDO and still has only a VGA camera.

As shown above, the Katana II will be offered in three colors, black, pink, and a silver/black combination. The phone will retail next month for $49.99 with new service, and $249.99 without contract.
