For those Boost Mobile customers that have been holding out for an Android smartphone on the Boost Mobile service, the brand will be unveiling its first Android smartphone in the Samsung Galaxy Prevail on Tuesday in an official press event detailing the new direction of the brand, now that Virgin Mobile has become the defacto data-oriented brand in the Sprint Prepaid Group.
The Samsung Galaxy Prevail will be a mid-range version of the Samsung Galaxy series of Android smartphones with a 3.2 inch capacitive touchscreen, 2.0 megapixel camera with video capture, Bluetooth, speakerphone, GPS support, accelerometer and microSD slot. Pricing is set at $179.99 before taxes.
Oh thats sweet that this phone is being offered, unfortunately, I canceled my Boost mobile contract a few months ago. I had horrible reception in my apartment and coudnt take it anymore. All ended well though, I switched to Straight Talk Unlimited and havent had a problem since.
