Samsung has officially announced the Samsung Galaxy S IV Mini ahead of its planned unveiling event being held in London next month on the 20th.
The phone is a scaled-down version of the S IV flagship with a dual-core 1.7GHz processor, 1.5GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage, microSD slot, a 4.3-inch qHD AMOLED screen at 960×540 resolution and an 8.0 megapixel camera on the back. The front-facing camera is a 1.9 megapixel unit with Jelly Bean 4.2.2, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS with GLONASS support, NFC, LTE, and an IR port along with a 1,900mAh battery.
Pricing is expected to be confirmed next month with single SIM and dual-SIM versions also being made available.
