Samsung Announces Galaxy Mega 6.3 For AT&T, Sprint, US Cellular

Samsung has taken to start this week off with a new phone announcement for the US market in the Galaxy Mega 6.3. True to its name, it features a larger than current average 6.3-inch HD display, 1.7GHz dual-core processor, support for LTE and HSPA+, with an appropriately large 3200mAh battery. It also features an 8.0 megapixel main camera and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera; Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with GLONASS support, NFC and MHL; the Mega also features support for microSD cards up to 64GB and 1.5GB of RAM. It runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Samsung’s TouchWiz software and application suite.

AT&T has come out first with firm pricing and launch details for the Mega 6.3, with the phone launching this Friday at $149.99 with a new 2 year agreement, while Sprint and US Cellular have yet to disclose their own pricing and launch details, other than to announce that they will be carrying the device and Sprint will be allowing truly unlimited data, in a vain attempt to play up its Unlimited for Life marketing campaign.
