RIM has announced that it will offer a slate of premium apps for free to BlackBerry customers who were affected by last week’s service outage. The offering is meant to serve as their way of making up for the outage and consists of  the following:

• Bejeweled – Electronic Arts
• N.O.V.A. – Gameloft
• Texas Hold’em Poker 2 – Gameloft
• Bubble Bash 2 – Gameloft
• Photo Editor Ultimate – Ice Cold Apps
• DriveSafe.ly Pro – iSpeech.org
• iSpeech Translator Pro – iSpeech.org
• Drive Safe.ly Enterprise – iSpeech.org
• Nobex Radioâ„¢ Premium – Nobex
• Shazam Encore – Shazam
• Vlingo Plus: Virtual Assistant – Vlingo
Corporate customers will be offered an additional month of enterprise technical support as well as the apps, with one month of access for those who do not have a current support contract also being offered. The free app promotion will begin this Wednesday and more apps will be offered besides the aforementioned.
