Update: Because of the PPC 5050 being discontinued, the Hitachi G1000 is no longer slated for phasing out, and Sprint will be ordering more from Hitachi. The price of the G1000 may also be cut to compensate. Also being considered is an upgrade for the G1000 to Pocket PC 2003.
No explanation available currently, but Sprint has killed their release of the Audiovox PPC 5050. With the discontinuing of the Hitachi G1000, and the 2032SP already down to stock on-hand, Sprint will have no available Pocket PC offering beyond the Yiso CF2031 data card.
