Not long after adding LTE support to its service, Page Plus has also added another perk to its $55 and $69.95 service plans in throttled data after the respective 3GB and 5GB monthly data allotments are used in a given month of service. The change has been active as of December 17th and is limited to the aforementioned plans. The plans below them are still subject to a hard data cap and the throttled data speeds have been alleged to be as low as 64Kbps, much slower than the industry’s throttled data average of 128Kbps.
The 55 plan features unlimited voice and messaging, 3 GB of high speed data and 200 international calling minutes for $55 per month. The $69.95 Unlimited Talk/Text/Data plan features unlimited voice and messaging, 5 GB of high speed data and 400 international calling minutes. Page Plus high-speed data access includes LTE access throttled to a maximum speed of approximately 5Mbps down and 3 Mbps up according to multiple customer reports, though the consistency in speeds tends to vary by area.
