At the end of its press conference today, graphics processor developer Nvidia has surprised many by confirming months of rumor and speculation regarding its plans to enter the desktop processor market dominated by Intel and AMD.
The company has partnered with ARM to develop what it calls “Project Denver” a custom processor specifically designed for high performance applications. The chipset is under heavy development, with more news at a later date.
