After a bumpy launch and necessary initial update, Nokia has synced the two versions of their first touch phone up. The second firmware update to the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is now available.
The update makes several changes, most notably support for detecting updates to S60 applications. The open-ended approach works like Java software updates, allowing developers to place an update URL with their applications, mimicking other technologies like Sparkle on Mac.
The update is available via the Nokia Update tool on the device.
