Nokia has released its Ovi Maps application for free with complete functionality, including turn by turn voice directions and pedestrian directions for 74 countries in 46 languages and traffic information for more than 10 countries as well as detailed maps for more than 180 countries, including the US.
More devices are planned for release beginning in March that will feature the new Ovi Maps application preloaded with free Drive and Walk functionality, Lonely Planet and Michelin Guides along with lifetime map updates.
10 devices currently support the revised application in the E52, E55, E72, N97 Mini, 6710 Navigator, 6730, Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition, 5800 XpressMusic, 5230 and X6.
