Nokia has released the long awaited US version of the N97 high-end smart device via the Nokia Flagship stores in Chicago and New York.
The Nokia N97 features a 3.5 inch resistive touchscreen tilting display, QWERTY keyboard, Symbian Series 60 5th Edition, quadband GSM/EDGE triband W-CDMA access, Wi-Fi radio, Bluetooth with stereo audio support, speakerphone, GPS transceiver with compass and A-GPS, TV output, 32GB of internal memory with additional microSDHC expansion slot, microUSB port, full access to Nokia services (Ovi, Nokia Music, Share), and an HTML browser with Flash Lite support.
The camera assembly features a 5.0 megapixel sensor, Carl Zeiss Tessar lens, 5.4mm focal length, and a wide aperture angle with dual LED flash and dedicated video light for VGA video capture at 30fps.
The device is available for $699.99 unlocked in black and will work on AT&T’s 3G service. Customers who preordered their device in May will begin to see their orders arrive this week according to various Nokia reps.
