Nokia has announced that it is now shipping its flagship N97 smart device for release later this month.
The Nokia N97 features a 3.5 inch resistive touchscreen tilting display, QWERTY keyboard, Symbian Series 60 5th Edition, quadband GSM/EDGE triband W-CDMA access, Wi-Fi radio, Bluetooth with stereo audio support, speakerphone, GPS transceiver with compass and A-GPS, TV output, 32GB of internal memory with additional microSDHC expansion slot, microUSB port, full access to Nokia services (Ovi, Nokia Music, Share), and an HTML browser with Flash Lite support.
The camera assembly features a 5.0 megapixel sensor, Carl Zeiss Tessar lens, 5.4mm focal length, and a wide aperture angle with dual LED flash and dedicated video light for VGA video capture at 30fps.
The US version of the device with US 3G support is expected to ship at the end of the month according to a recent Amazon listing.
