Nokia has officially announced the forthcoming launch of the Nokia N8, which will also mark the availability of the manufacturer’s Symbian^3 operating system and companion SDK.
The N8 features a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display, and there’s 16GB of internal storage expandable up to 48GB with a 32GB microSDHC card, free Ovi Maps access is included along with Bluetooth with stereo audio support, GPS transceiver and 12 megapixel camera with 720p video capture, xenon flash and HDMI output.
Avialability for Europe has been confirmed for the third quarter with no immediate word on North American availability at this time.
