Nokia has officially announced the Nokia 5230 XpressMusic as the Nuron for T-Mobile after initally being leaked in an employee roadmap last month. The Nuron features quadband GSM/EDGE and dual-band 1700/2100 3.6Mbps HSDPA radios, as well as Bluetooth with stereo audio support and FM radio.
It features a 3.2-inch, 640 x 360 resistive touch display with a software QWERTY keyboard, 2.0 megapixel camera with video capture and support for 16GB microSD cards, Ovi Maps and Ovi Store support, with T-Mobile confirming that it will support carrier billing for the Ovi Store allowing customers to purchase applications from the store and have them billed to their account.
The Nokia Nuron is expected to be available on March 17th for $59.99 with new agreement.
