After all the coverage we gave you on the initial introduction of the Nokia N95, Nokia is finally planning to release an updated version of their N95 8GB flagship that will take full advantage of the 3G data networks available in the U.S 850/1900 MHz HSDPA (high speed data packet access) specification.Â

Dubbed a part of Nokia’s mobile phone trend prediction, ‘Circular Entertainment,’ the N95 offers the capabilities of creating, editing, and uploading content directly to the Internet. With support for Nokia’s Share Online 3.0, customers are able to upload their content directly to their social community websites such as Flickr or Vox. The N95 also features a class-leading five megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and autofocus, WLAN, and 8GB of internal memory. Built on top of Symbian’s S60 3rd Edition software, users have an array of mobile applications from games to entertainment, productivity and creativity. The navigation feature includes a full-fledged A-GPS system and comes preloaded with a number of US state maps as well as 100 other countries.Â
This model will be available in the first quarter of 2008 from Nokia Nseries retailers, Nokia flagship stores and various online retailers for an MSRP of $749.
