Microsoft has released Voice Command version 1.6. This update, while minor in numerical order from the last release, version 1.5, is a signfiicant release for the voice recognition software.
As well as offering several key bug fixes and improvements, version 1.6 is the first version to officially add support for Windows Mobile for Smartphones. In addition, version 1.6 also adds support for Bluetooth headsets. Previously users had to hack Bluetooth support for Voice Command, which was limited to select HTC devices that carried a hidden workaround solution.
Microsoft is currently selling version 1.6, though an update for existing users is not yet available (a demo of version 1.6 is also not yet available). Brighthand.com reports that Microsoft will be offering the update to existing users shortly.
