Verizon and Motorola have issued a firmware update to the Motorola Q. This update adds AKU2 with MSFP support, and adds Phone-As-Modem (PAM) support. However, the device now will check to make sure you have a BroadbandAccess Connect plan, before allowing you to use the Q as a modem.
This comes two weeks after Motorola released an update to the Q, pulling it from its web site hours later due to critical bugs.
