Microsoft has updated its Windows Phone Connector for Mac once again, this time updating it to version 2.0 ahead of the release of its next major Windows Phone update codenamed “Mango”.
The update is available now and enables the Connector software to better communicate with Mango devices, the only one on the market at the moment being the Japan-only Toshiba IS12T Windows Phone device on KDDI AU. Additional features of the update include Marketplace support and ringtone transfers for Mango devices. Other improvements which work on both Windows Phone versions include drag-and-drop file import from the Browse Device window, improved backup/restore, and full sync/import from Apple’s Aperture photo software.
