Microsoft has quietly released a new beta of their MSN Direct for Windows Mobile service. Most significantly, the update adds support for Pocket PC devices.
Microsoft launched MSN Direct service for Windows Mobile in February, in response to the free and quick information services available on Apple’s iPhone. However, the free application was only available to Windows Mobile Standard devices; smartphones that lack a touch screen. This update now enables all Windows Mobile devices to use MSN Direct.
MSN Direct requires Windows Mobile 6, and is still in beta.
