Further details have surfaced concerning the CDMA version of LG’s flagship touchscreen device, the LG VX9700 which is now known as the LG Dare for Verizon Wireless.
The device will now feature EVDO Rev. A data access, a light sensor for backlight adjustment and proximity sensor to automatically shut off the LCD display and pick up the incoming phone call, and an accelerometer for automatic screen orientation.
The device will also feature VGA video recording, an HTML browser, handwriting recognition, multitasking support, Bluetooth 2.0 with stereo audio support, GPS support through VZ Navigator, microUSB port, microSDHC expansion slot and speakerphone.
The device is expected to be launched first online beginning June 26th, with a full retail launch beginning July 11th, though this can change at anytime.
