iPhone Ringtones Get Easy to Install (Updated v3.0.3)




While some previous hacks have allowed for users to install custom ringtones onto Apple’s iPhone, today marks the first release of a tool that actually makes the process easy. The tool, iFuntastic, automates much of the process, providing users with a simple checklist-style workflow, and the program itself handles most of the grunt work.



iFuntastic requires an Intel-based Macintosh, while it was written by many others we are hosting the download at the link below.

Update: iFuntastic has been updated to version 2.1.0. The new version adds many features, including the ability to install user ringtones, change the carrier logo (the AT&T text at the top of the status bar), as well as edit the home screen.

Update: Version 2.5.0 has been released. This update adds the ability to browse and modify iPhone’s file system from inside the application.

Update: Version 3.0.3 has been released, and improves file uploading and underlying processes. It also adds support for PowerPC systems.
