In a press release today, Dutch mapping and navigation solutions developer TeleAtlas has announced that it has reached an agreement with Google for five years which will allow the search company access to resources such as maps and related dynamic content in more than 200 countries worldwide.
In exchange for the access provided to them, Google will begin to allow TeleAtlas access to its Google Earth and Maps infrastructure across desktop, online and mobile spaces as well as allowing TeleAtlas access to user edits done by the community surrounding Google Maps in order to continually improve the accuracy of its map data.
Financial details regarding the agreement were not disclosed by either company.
