Fujtsu Network Communications has announced in a press release that it will add to its current lab facilities in the Dallas suburb of Richardson, TX to facilitate large scale testing and development of carrier-grade equipment developed for LTE deployment specifically for US carriers.
The intention behind the addition is to allow carriers to streamline and accelerate the process for testing and deploying LTE with a focus on equipment interoperability and systems integration while transitioning from 3G networks to LTE. Â Fujitsu also offers its own LTE solution that allows for ancillary facilities to be upgraded with minimal expansion and no major increase in power requirements.
