Findum has just released their LBS services which tap both Sprint and Nextel’s networks. Findum works by authorizing phones which will then appear on the Findum web site (after logging in). A user can then track all the phones that they are authorized to, whenever they are on.
The service costs $12.99/month and does not use data, so Vision is not required. The Findum service is similar to Nextel’s corporate GPS tracking services (as well as the Sprint Business Mobility Framework), which allows enterprise customers to track employees.
