FCC Approves iPhone 3G S

Shortly after the unveiling of the iPhone 3G S, the FCC has released the requisite approval documentation.

The iPhone 3G S builds on the iPhone 3G with a processor two orders of magnitude faster than the 3G, tri-band HSPA 7.2 support, GPS with built-in compass, voice control, support for modem tethering, Nike+ support, parental control support, remote device location, and MMS. In addition, iPhone 3G S has even longer battery life when used on 2G and Wi-Fi networks compared to the 3G along with native video recording and onboard video editing.

    You do realize that “two orders of magnitude”, as the term “order of magnitude” is normally used isn’t remotely similar to “two times”, right?
