The FCC has approved one of RIM’s new BlackBerry smartphone models ahead of its official announcement later this morning. The BlackBerry 9800 will be the first RIM model launched with version 6 of its operating system and a sliding QWERTY keyboard. Other technical specifications include Bluetooth with stereo audio, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi radio, quadband GSM/EDGE and triband AT&T/international 3G support for roaming.
