The technology is designed to shine the best in real-world usage patterns, but even can be confirmed by looking at the benchmarks.
This drive will work in any conventional SATA 2.5-inch hard drive bay, no special hardware or software is needed to use it. And yes, Mac and PC users alike will enjoy the performance boost… even Linux users, and we presume those bravely running Haiku even.
