Daily deal site DailySteals is offering a great deal on the Google Nexus 10 tablet, as the inventory being offered at 10% off is new in box taken from unsold inventory. The Google Nexus 10 serves as the higher-end companion to the older Nexus 7 with a 2560×1600 touch display being the main selling point and besting the Retina iPad’s 2048×1536 display, which Google intended to compete against.
However, the competition came at the cost of pricing, as the Nexus 10 was less expensive than the equivalent Retina iPad, and the lack of applications that showed off the incredibly high-resolution display were rare and are still difficult to find on Google Play now, with Google only recently addressing the issue when launching the second-generation Nexus 7 in the past couple of months with a higher-resolution 1200p display. Still, the Nexus 10 makes a solid companion to the 2nd-generation Nexus 7 and is still worth purchasing due to its specifications and longevity. The spec sheet follows below.
