The Scottish company i-mate, known for branding HTC devices for sale in European and Asian markets, has announced four new Windows Mobile 6 Professional devices in their Ultimate line with triband W-CDMA support and HSUPA data support for the American market today at CTIA.


The 6150 is a standard PDA form factor device with the 8150 being a candybar form factor device with standard 12-key dialpad and both feature a VGA touchscreen display, triband W-CDMA with HSUPA data access, quadband GSM, Wi-Fi radio with support for e and i long-range protocols, microSD slot, FM radio, front mounted VGA camera for video calls, and Bluetooth 2.0. Both phones are expected to launch in mid-November.


The Ultimate 8502 is a candybar form factor device featuring a VGA touchscreen display, QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth 2.0, front mounted VGA camera, FM radio, video out with support for XGA resolution viewing on large displays, GPS support, Wi-Fi radio with support for e and i long range protocols, Qualcomm MSM 7200 chipset, microSD slot, and quadband GSM.
The Ultimate 9502 resembles Motorola’s SideKick Slide, with the featureset of the 8502 and a vertically sliding display revealing a large QWERTY keyboard. Both phones are expected to be available during the 4th quarter with no firm dates given.
