Cricket has unveiled newly reconfigured iPhone and family plans for new and current customers. The new family plan offers two lines for $40 per line per month and includes unlimited voice and text, 1GB of full-speed data (throttled after 1GB), and its Muve Music service. Cricket has also reconfigured its iPhone service plans to match those it currently offers with Android smartphones.
The first iPhone plan costs $50 per month (a reduction of $5 from its previous iPhone plan) and includes unlimited nationwide talk/text, 1GB of full-speed data, and Muve Music access. New and current iPhone customers can also choose a $60 plan to add 2.5GB of full-seed data and unlimited international messaging, up to a $70 plan to get 5GB of full-speed data and unlimited international messaging per month.
All three of these plans also include mobile hotspot support across iOS and Android smartphones. The new plans were launched on April 21 and are available at Cricket corporate stores and select third-party retailers with automatic bill pay required for the new family plan.
