Cricket has announced a new mid-range phablet from ZTE in the Grand X MAX that will launch on Friday for $199.99. The phone features a 6-inch 720p HD display and 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor. The main camera features 8 megapixels with an LED flash and HD video capture, while the user-facing camera is a 1 megapixel unit. The X Max includes 8GB of internal storage and supports memory cards up to 32GB. It runs Android 4.4. KitKat and comes preloaded with the Peel Smart Remote app, which allows owners to search for TV shows directly on their handset for later viewing on other devices.
