Cradlepoint has announced two new forthcoming consumer WiMax/3G routers and one currently available enterprise router during CES.
The portable consumer router allows sharing of a single WiMAX connection with multiple devices via Wi-Fi and will feature Wi-Fi 802.11n with VPN, WPA and WEP for security as well as support for 16 simultaneous users/devices and a USB port for 3G modems with a run time of 4 hours.
The stationary home and office router will include a single WAN port, four LAN ports, a USB port for 3G modems, Wi-Fi with VPN, WPA and WEP for security, support for 16 simultaneous users/devices and wired connection support for backup if a wireless connection is not available.
Cradlepoint also announced the availability of the CBA750 enterprise wireless broadband adapter that will support 3G/4G, USB and ExpressCard modems while utilizing existing CAT5 infrastructure to deliver wireless broadband to an entire corporate network at an MSRP of $249.99.
