Update: We have received confirmation that an AT&T Wireless version of the S710a will be offered in limited channels.Cingular, after having delayed the release of the Sony Ericsson S710a for months have finally entered the device into the release process. SBC customers may now order the device from SBC’s Cingular portal. Despite previously quoted prices, the current price on the SBC site is $299.99 after mail-in rebate with two-year agreement.Internal documents indicate that Cingular will wait a week from today to offer the S710a in other sales channels, but they expect all sales channels to take stock of the device shortly after that timeframe.
Rumors of an AT&T Wireless version of the device have yet to be confirmed.
