Cingular has begun to release the Audiovox SMT5600 to all sales channels. Cingular was forced to carry the SMT5600 after negative feedback from former AT&T Wireless customers about not being able to take their “Blue” SMT5600 to a Cingular “Orange” account, and the lack of a SMT5600 to switch to once becoming an “Orange” customer.
While currently in some stores, the device is not yet available online.
