AT&T, AT&T Wireless, and Cingular have reached agreement on how to merge the brands of AT&T Wireless and Cingular. Cingular will retain the ability to use the AT&T Wireless name for six months after the merger. During which time, Cingular will slowly convert all of AT&T Wireless’s assets and customers over to the Cingular brand. At the end of the six month period following the merger, Cingular will release the AT&T Wireless name back to AT&T.
