Google has announced in a roundabout blog post that AT&T will now offer a subsidy for the Google Nexus S by Samsung, with availability exclusively at Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile locations.
Previously, AT&T customers that were interested in purchasing the AT&T 3G version of the Android smartphone would have to pay full retail price for the phone while Sprint and T-Mobile customers benefitted from a subsidy with new 2 year agreement. Pricing for the Nexus S with a new AT&T agreement is set at $99.99 with in-store availability this Sunday.
While the Google blog post referenced an online pre-order for the AT&T compatible Nexus S via Best Buy, the page has yet to go live as of 1:20 PM CDT.
