Earlier today, AT&T announced further changes to its current Mobile Share Plans that include 10GB or more of data access per month in order to make them more attractive to families and business that need multiple lines of service.
Starting on Sunday February 2nd, two smartphones can get unlimited voice and messaging with 10GB of data for $130 per month with each additional smartphone costing another $15 per month. With the new pricing for smartphones, three lines will cost $145, four lines will cost $160, and five lines will cost $175 with the same rates applying for up to 10 lines of service. Below, the chart AT&T provides as a comparison to T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint and its own pricing chart:
Good grief, I have a 22% discount with my company and only 4GB of data and my bill is still more than AT&T. Verizon is really screwing me!
Seems like the ATT site suggests that greater than 10GB options exist too, but they are not enumerated. Any other info on these new plans?
Nothing yet, but when they post an updated plan table outside of today’s announcement, I’ll post another breakdown.
