As expected, AT&T has launched the Sharp FX messaging oriented multimedia device.
The FX is based heavily on the Sidekick/Hiptop design with a sliding widescreen QVGA resolution resistive touch display, QWERTY keyboard, media player, access to AT&T services including Mobile TV (powered by MediaFLO), 2.0 megapixel camera with video recorder, microSD expansion slot and Bluetooth with stereo audio support.
Pricing is set at $149.99 before an additional $50 mail-in rebate via AT&T Promotion Card and two year agreement, with minimum $20 messaging or combination of messaging/data plan required.
