AT&T has launched new no-roaming plans, under the GSM America name. But, they are also advertising the “GSM America” network at the same time. Confusing? Only if you are an existing customer.
Basically, what it means is that if you have a national, non-charter, non-multiband plan, non-GoPhone plan, voice and data roaming are now free in the United States. To understand it further, check out AT&T’s GSM America FAQ.
