The first reports of AT&T training for the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab have surfaced, bringing confirmation that AT&T will be offering prepaid data access for the device as well as postpaid access.
Prepaid data access will be made available via the carrier’s recently launched prepaid data plans, starting at $15/100MB for 1 day of access, $30/300MB for 7 days and $50/1GB for 30 days. Pricing for the tablet and data access pricing for postpaid plans has yet to be confirmed.
AT&T Is smoking crack if they think most people are going to pay those outrageous prices! $50 for 1gb/30days of internet?!?
Unfortunately, the sad thing is many people just aren’t informed.
I spoke with one average joe today who thought that since AT&T was capping data on handsets, that all the carriers were now doing it.
That is the reason they keep doing it. Most people don’t know there are better options and therefore pay the high prices and companies like att keep screwing everyone. Oh well.
