AT&T has announced pricing and launch details for its variant of the Xperia T Android flagship smartphone in the TL. The Sony Mobile Xperia TL will be launched on November 2nd for $99.99 after new 2 year agreement and data plan requirement.
The phone is heavily tied into the latest film in the James Bond franchise, Skyfall and is prominently featured in the film as well as in the global marketing campaign owing to Sony Pictures involvement in the film with the AT&T TL including exclusive Skyfall content, such as behind the scenes footage, interviews, clips, wallpapers and ring tones.
The Xperia TL features a 1.5GHz dual-core S4 processor, 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, NFC and a 4.6-inch 720p display powered by the Mobile BRAVIA Engine display and image processor along with a microSD slot, 16GB of built-in storage, Bluetooth and LTE along with Android Ice Cream Sandwich running Sony’s Mediascape user interface. The phone will be updated to Jelly Bean sometime next year, as it falls under Sony Mobile’s 2012 lineup.
