AT&T and Samsung have jointly announced the forthcoming launch of the Samsung Evergreen quick messaging device.
The Evergreen is manufactured with 70% recycled post-consumer plastics and is free of PVC, BFR and Beryllium with an Energy Star 2.0 certified charger. Technical specifications consist of a sliding QWERTY keyboard, 2.4-inch QVGA display, 2.0 megapixel camera with video recorder, and 3G support along with Bluetooth.
Pricing is set at $79.99 after new 2 year agreement before an additional $50 rebate, bringing the total to $29.99. Samsung will also donate $1 to the Cell Phones for Soldiers charity, up to a maximum of $100,000.
