Alltel has launched a pre order campaign for their highly anticipated CDMA version of the BlackBerry Curve.
The device is expected to be identical to the forthcoming Sprint and Verizon versions with a QVGA landscape display, full QWERTY keyboard, trackball navigation as found on the Pearl, GPS support, microSD expansion slot, Bluetooth with stereo audio support, 2.0 megapixel camera with video recorder and flash, media player, and speakerphone.
The phone is now being presold ahead of its expected May 1st launch for $329.99 with new 2 year agreement before an additional $100 mail-in rebate, bringing the total to $229.99. The phone is expected to be launched officially through retail locations on the same day.
I think its awesome that Alltel is beating Sprint and Verizon to the punch on this one!!!! Not common and about time
letstalk.com has a sale going on until 5/27/08 for the blackberry curve 8333.I hve had my old cell phone for over two years. bought the curve for 179.99 minus the 100 rebate. cost me only 79.99. now that i think is a deal and they have it in stock. should get it by the 29th of may. my local store is getting one, they hope by wed the 28th.
