Virtual operator PagePlus has announced that it has restructured its venerable per minute airtime cards for use with its Standard Plan prepaid service.
The per-minute rate has been reduced to $.04-$.10 per minute from the older $.06 and $.12 per minute rate dependent on card denomination. The new lower rates are in effect as of today. Airtime cards will now provide the following airtime for each denomination: $25 for 400 minutes; $50 for 1,000 minutes; and $80 for 2,000 minutes.
The $10 card had been previously changed in November to increase the number of minutes from 83 to 100. The minutes on all standard airtime cards are good for up to 120 days and will roll over when the account is refilled within that time
