Today, we’re launching PCS Intel. PCS Intel is designed to correct one fundamental problem with Sprint PCS Info, by separating the Sprint focus back into its own site, while still giving hard-hitting coverage to the U.S. carriers you’re used to.
The breakdown is simple: All news, discussion, and information will be on PCS Intel. Sprint and Sprint Nextel analysis will be maintained on Sprint PCS Info along with our Sprint Phones Section. Things such as the Wireless Store will bridge the two, and a complete archive of all past coverage is mirrored on both sites.
And, as always, we remain loyal to you, the consumer and viewer. Both PCS Intel and Sprint PCS Info are consumer-focused journalism and consumer-focused advocacy, so we welcome your feedback and news submissions.
As to our loyal base of SPI Supporters, you’re still in the loop. Existing SPI Supporters will be converted to a lifetime PCS Intel Pro Membership. We’ll have more details on this later after we finish the transition, but this will be a monthly subscription to gain access to additional forums, information, and options.
We’re actually nowhere near done with the transition, but because of the Sprint Nextel merger announcement, we’re opening the site a little early, please bear with us if you see a lot of SPI branding.
