ImageAfter first following T-Mobile’s first 3G USB modem since last December, the carrier has launched the Huawei-sourced UMG181 modem, now branded as the T-Mobile WebConnect USB Laptop Stick.

The modem features an internal antenna while supporting triband GSM/EDGE and triband 3G HSPA access on AWS 1700 and UMTS 1900/2100, microSDHC expansion slot, built-in T-Mobile Connection Manager software for one step automatic install, and HotSpot access.

The modem is now available online for $49.99 after $200 instant online discount and new 2 year agreement with a webConnect data plan at $59.99 a month for 5GB of data transfer and unlimited HostSpot access.
