T-Mobile has announced a novel way for customers to purchase some of the latest devices in the lineup without feeling the severe pinch in the wallet at the time of purchase, especially during the trying economic times.
As the name implies, the Equipment Installment Plan allows new and current customers that are deemed creditworthy the opportunity to pay the purchase cost of a new handset in four equal payments with no additional charges or interest accrued, which makes the cost of more expensive handsets more palatable for many people that may not be used to paying a large amount for a new phone or would like to ease the typically large payment on a handset upgrade.
